Mayor Making Ceremony

MGGS was delighted to hear from Cllr Grace Couch – Maidstone Borough Councillor for Marden and Yalding and also former student of MGGS!   One of our Head Students, Izzy R attended the Maidstone Borough Council’s AGM and new Mayor of Maidstone making ceremony.

“I’m just getting in touch, pass my thanks onto Izzy and the fellow students who attended the Annual Council meeting on Saturday 17th May to congratulate the new Mayor. 

It was my first meeting as a recently elected councillor, and as a former MGGS student, it was lovely to have the school represented in this meeting!
