MGGS Applauds Sophie’s National Top 10 Achievement 🤸‍♀️ 🤸‍♀️ 🤸‍♀️

Sophie, a talented Year 11 student (11G) at MGGS, recently showcased her exceptional skills at the prestigious Acrobatic Gymnastics British Championships. The competition, held at the end of July, saw Sophie and her two partners deliver a truly remarkable performance.

Despite the formidable challenge of only having trained together for a mere four weeks leading up to the event, and one of her partners (the “top”) having only recovered from a broken ankle just two weeks prior, the trio demonstrated incredible resilience and dedication. Their hard work paid off as they achieved a fantastic 10th place finish. This is an outstanding accomplishment, particularly considering they were competing against partnerships with World and European-level experience. Their success is a testament to their talent, perseverance, and strong teamwork.
