MGGS Students Get to Visit Baxall’s Head Office

13 students in Years 11, 12 and 13 had the fantastic opportunity to visit Baxall Construction’s Head Office on 8th October to learn more about the wide variety of careers available in the construction industry.

Throughout the day, students took part in a range of interactive sessions including Accounts & Finance, Site Management, Quantity Surveying, Marketing, Data & Digital Technologies, Procurement and Estimating. It was a brilliant way to see how many different roles come together to make construction projects (like our new building!) a success.

The visit gave students a real insight into what it’s like to work in a professional office environment and helped them explore potential future pathways, including hearing from a current degree apprentice.
