National Apprenticeship Week @MGGS 

We marked National Apprenticeship Week with a fantastic programme of events highlighting the breadth of opportunities available beyond traditional university routes.

Ellis, a current Tax apprentice, shared her experience of working  within EY, a global professional services firm, giving students valuable insight into recruitment processes, application tips and her honest insights. 

Izzy from Pathway CTM ran an ‘Apprenticeship Masterclass’ for sixth form students, which provided practical guidance on understanding apprenticeship levels, navigating applications and standing out in competitive processes. She also shared her experiences of being an apprentice at Unilever, having left MGGS herself in 2018!

Our final event was the Meet the Alumni Apprenticeship Panel where former students Ella (Portico), Harriet (Environment agency), Ebeny and Poppy (both RDT) offered honest, first-hand perspectives from working in apprenticeship roles across a range of industries, with an engaging Q&A session full of practical advice.
