PSHE Day 2
Our second PSHE Day of the year was another exciting and enriching experience for all year groups, with students exploring a wide range of themes, skills, and wellbeing activities.
Year 7 focused on physical health and puberty, ending their day with a lively wellbeing session featuring Just Dance – a brilliant way to get everyone moving and smiling.
Year 8 explored relationships, mental health, and wellbeing, taking part in a calming yoga session to help students learn practical ways to manage stress and look after themselves.
Year 9 looked at life in the wider world and enjoyed a creative art wellbeing session, giving them the chance to switch off, reflect, and express themselves.
Year 10 concentrated on physical health and diet, alongside a fantastic wellbeing session on volleyball led by two instructors. They also had an informative talk from the army that helped broaden their understanding of future opportunities.
Year 11 enjoyed a special Taste of Sixth Form Day, taking part in a range of A-level taster sessions to help them prepare for the choices ahead. They also cooked a delicious coconut daal, developing confidence and independence in the kitchen.
Year 12 spent the day off-site on a fantastic trip to Aspiration Digital, gaining valuable insight into careers in the digital and creative industries.
Finally, Year 13 devoted their PSHE Day to preparing for the future, taking part in sessions centred on careers, next steps, and life beyond school.
Another wonderfully varied and engaging PSHE Day – full of learning, practical skills, and wellbeing. We look forward to the next one!
