Rehearsals for ‘This Changes Everything’ have begun!🎭

Save the Date!

On Monday, 10th November the cast of This Changes Everything met for their first rehearsal. We are working with a smaller cast this year and the play is really contemporary – it’s a brilliant opportunity for our students to explore something a little darker and more challenging in terms of characterisation and content.

A group of young people have mysteriously disappeared and the police can’t find them anywhere. They’re not really friends, but they did meet online; brought together by a shared interest. Unbeknown to the authorities, or even their families, these young people have relocated to an isolated platform out in the sea. Their plan: to conceive a whole new and better way of creating a society. They call themselves The Community and when ready, they plan to come out of hiding and share what they have learned.

Written as part of an initiative to address gender imbalance and inequality, Joel Horwood’s 2015 play This Changes Everything tempts audiences with the allure of an alternative world where The Community enjoys life, free from the shackles of conventional society. But is all as it seems in this supposedly utopian paradise? Will they all survive the experiment?

Performances will take place on February 11th and 12th , 2026, tickets will go on sale in the new year. We hope that you will join us on one of the evenings! 🎭
