Sixth Form Induction Day

We were delighted to welcome our prospective Year 12 students to MGGS on Wednesday, 9th July 2025 for a successful and engaging Sixth Form Induction Day. The day was designed to give students a clear insight into life at MGGS Sixth Form and support their transition into this exciting new phase of their education.

Throughout the day, students experienced a range of taster lessons in their chosen subjects, met their future teachers, and had the opportunity to connect with fellow students. They also learned more about the expectations and opportunities unique to Sixth Form life at MGGS.

The day began with a warm welcome from the Sixth Form Management Team in the Main Hall, followed by a structured timetable of sessions and activities. Students explored the Sixth Form facilities, attended subject-based lessons, and received guidance to help them feel prepared and confident for September.

We were pleased to see so many students engaging positively with the programme, asking thoughtful questions, and starting to form new friendships.

We now look forward to seeing our new Sixth Form students again in the summer, once they have received their GCSE results for enrolment. In the meantime, we wish all our students the very best of luck with their results.
