Star of the Season: Nyah D Shines in Adult Hockey Debut 🏑🌟

A huge congratulations to Nyah D, our current club top scorer!

Nyah has been outstanding this season – and what makes it even more impressive is that this is her first year of adult hockey.  She’s stepped into the Ladies 5s midfield with confidence, quality and an unbelievable work rate, covering every inch of the pitch each week.

Here is what the L5 Captain had to say:

“Nyah is going from strength to strength.  She only started playing adult hockey this season and really is developing into a fantastic team player.  She plays in midfield and has the most amazing work rate, covering so much of the pitch every game.  Nyah loves scoring goals; however, she is a generous midfielder, often setting up goals for the forwards.  When Nyah’s not on the hockey pitch, you will find her playing netball or cricket for the county!  An all-round super sportswoman.”

An incredible hockey talent, a brilliant teammate and a real example of the future of Marden HC.  Well done Nyah – keep shining!
