Success in the Library!

I would like to thank everyone who made the Year 7 trip to Waterstones this term a success. We had some lovely feedback from parents and students. Waterstones complimented us on the maturity and enthusiasm of our young people and said it was a pleasure hosting them. Inviting us back anytime.

One student said “Thank you very much for taking us to Waterstones, I really enjoyed it and I am certain the rest of my form did too. I would definitely do it again! I thoroughly recommend that next year’s Year 7s get this opportunity too! 🙂

Also, thank you to all who brought books at the Scholastic book fair. We managed to secure over £500 in commission and have purchased over 50 new fiction books to update the library. With a little surpless for any new releases in the next six months. The next book fair will be in November ready for Christmas.
