The Art of Colour: Year 9 Master Portrait Tones
Our talented Year 9 students have been exploring portrait work with a focus on developing and mixing accurate skin tones. As part of this project, they studied the inspiring work of Cristina Troufa and her expressive approach to colour.
Using cool colours to build shadows and warmer tones to define highlights and structure, students carefully observed how colour can shape and bring life to the face. They embraced the challenge with enthusiasm and demonstrated impressive skill, creativity, and attention to detail throughout the process.
We are incredibly proud of the dedication and artistic growth shown by Year 9!
