Transforming Lives & Enjoying the Fun: RAG Week 2025!

Our eagerly anticipated annual Raising and Giving (RAG) Week is officially underway, starting this Friday, and the entire school community is buzzing with excitement for this key stand-out event of the school year!

A huge thank you goes out to our incredible Head Students – Emelia, Emma, Isla, Neha, and Sreelakshmi -for their terrific work in skillfully organising this four-day series of fun and memorable events, running from the 12th to the 17th of December.

RAG Week is a treasured MGGS tradition, aiming to raise over £4,000 for three worthy causes: The Himalayan Milan School in Nepal, the Youth Sports Trust, and Period Poverty UK.

The lunchtime performances this year are as follows:

Friday, 12th December – Ads & Trailers
Monday, 15th December – Traitors
Tuesday 16th December – Pantomime ‘Shrek’
Wednesday 17th December – Top of the Pops

During the week, students are allocated one day where they may dress up in a costume within the set theme for the day, which are as follows:

Friday, 12th December – Rhyme Without Reason – Teachers & Year 12
Monday, 15th December – British Icons – Year 10
Tuesday 16th December – Music Vs Musicals – Year 7 & 11
Wednesday 17th December – Decades – Year 8 & 9
