Year 8 & 9 Textiles Social: Inspiration and Creativity in Action!

This week, our Year 8 and 9 students had the fantastic opportunity to attend the Textiles Social, an event designed to give students an insight into what it is like to study GCSE Textiles.  The students were able to chat with our current Year 11 GCSE students, learning about their experiences and getting top tips for the course.  Students got a first-hand look at the amazing work our GCSE students have been creating, from initial sketches and sampling to detailed drawings and stunning final pieces. The showcase really highlighted the creativity, skill, and dedication that goes into the course.

It was wonderful to see so many Year 8 and 9 students engaged and inspired by the creativity on display.
