Year 8 Making Shorts in Textiles!

Year 8 have been learning an array of new techniques to use when making their shorts in textiles, including reverse applique, weave, and stitch and slash. We have been working as sustainably as possible, utilising all fabric scraps from the cutting process. Students have been very conscious of the amount of fabric they use and waste, creating a more sustainable cycle in our DT department. We are working hard to embed sustainable practice in all aspects of life, not just textiles!
