House Arts 2025… Introducing Your Judge & Last Year’s Recap!

This year’s judge is Sam Stanley, a British Asian, International Award-winning Creative and Judge. Sam is known for his work with major artists, including Little Mix, and through his Sam Stanley Creative masterclasses and training programme.

Sam started his dance career at age 14 and trained at Doreen Birds. He founded SSC to provide high-level jazz, commercial, and contemporary training for aspiring dancers through masterclasses and is excited to judge our House Arts this year!

Here’s a recap on House Arts “The Jewel in the Crown @MGGS” 2024 … the overall winners were Britons with a HAT TRICK!!!   

The theme for House Arts Day last year was “Heroes” with a drama format. Students showcased the incredible performances crafted by our dedicated House Leaders, a celebration of talent, teamwork, and creativity within our student body. But House Arts isn’t just about winning; it’s about unity and creating lifelong memories.

Awarded categories and winners last year were:

Best Overall Performance: Britons
Best Individual Performance: Beth B – Normans
Best Script: Vikings
Best Direction/Staging: Britons
Best Ensemble Performance: Saxons
Best Programme: Danes
Best Design (costume, set, props, lighting, sound): Romans

Who will win “The Jewel in the Crown @MGGS” this year?
