MGGS Medic Society Returns: Inspiring Our Next Generation of Healthcare Professionals
We are delighted to share that the Medic Society is returning to MGGS, a vibrant, inclusive, and forward-looking community for any student interested in the world of healthcare. Whether you aspire to study medicine, nursing, midwifery, physiotherapy, pharmacy, radiography, biomedical science, paramedic sciences, or simply want to explore what a future in health and medical care might look like, this society is for you.
The Medic Society aims to inspire, enrich, and support all students considering a future in the medical fields, with opportunities to explore pathways, hear real-world stories, gain application insight, and develop the skills needed for competitive health-related courses.
We will be launching the society from January, in line with the opening of our brand-new Helen Keane Building, home to our Biology and Chemistry departments, affectionately known as our new BioChem Floor.
The exact start date will be confirmed shortly, along with a full programme of events and opportunities.
Year 12: We Need You!
We are inviting Year 12 students who would like to be involved in shaping and supporting the leadership of the Medic Society to get in touch. Please email: medicsociety@mggs.org
