Amazing Fundraising at MGGS

Towards the end of March we had two very exciting events (particularly because it was the first time in 2 years that friends and family were allowed to come back into school and watch live performances): the first-ever MGGS Performing Arts Showcase and the annual Dance Showcase. Some of the money raised from both shows was donated to Kent-based charity Square Pegs Arts.  Square Pegs provides performing arts experiences for “… children, young people and adults who have learning disabilities, autism, social communication difficulties or who struggle to ‘fit in’ with mainstream activities”. We are delighted to say that we raised £935!

This is really wonderful and massively appreciated, thank you all so much. Please do extend our thanks to the students for their efforts”. Beth James (Chief Executive of the charity and ex MGGS student).

As a school we are delighted to have raised money for such a good cause and hope to work with #SquarePegsArts in the future.

Thank you to our talented students and their friends and family for supporting them and Square Pegs Arts.
